EVERY NATION VISION/MISSION STATEMENT
We exist to honour God and advance His Kingdom by establishing Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Bible-believing, disciple-making and socially responsible churches in every nation.
WHY DO WE EXIST?
To honour God:
This is the foundational motive of our ministry, the ultimate goal of our outreach, the invisible force driving our mission; to honour God is the starting point of all we do. Our bottom line is the glory of God, not the success of a ministry. The chief end of Every Nation is to “honour God and to enjoy Him forever.” This is why we do all we do.
To advance His Kingdom:
This is the divine mandate for our ministry. Our God is absolute sovereign ruler of the universe, thus His Kingdom is destined to impact every nation, every people group and every redeemable institution on earth. We believe His Kingdom advances primarily through the church. The church’s number one means of advancing the Kingdom is by making disciples in every sphere of society. We are called to be salt and light: salt to a decaying world and light to a dark world. As we become salt and light, the Kingdom of God will forcefully advance.
HOW?
Christ Centered Churches:
Every Nation churches aim to be built on Christ, not a vision, a man, someone’s gifts, a doctrine or experience.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Corthinthians 3:11
Spirit-Empowered:
Every Nation churches respect and welcome the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” Romans 8:14
Bible Believing Churches:
Every Nation churches see the Bible as the final authority for doctrine and lifestyle.
“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Disciple Making Churches:
Every Nation churches see discipleship not as one of many programs, but as the central church activity.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19, 20
Socially Responsible Churches:
Every Nation churches prioritise caring for the community they live in as Christ would care for them. We purposefully and strategically unite with the body of Christ to take responsibility to be salt and light to our society.
